Hidenwood principal wins national award
Brian Nichols, principal of Hidenwood Elementary School, is a winner of ASCD’s 2010 Outstanding Young Educator Award (OYEA). ASCD honored Nichols in March at its annual conference San Antonio, Texas. Nichols has a history of turning around low-performing schools through a mix of strategic use of data, collaborative leadership, and innovative education practices.

NNPS archers golden
NNPS is an archery powerhouse in Virginia! Warwick High School boasts the state's top team and the top two male archers: Brandon Delk and Erick Soledispa. On the girls' side, Warwick's Dani Foster finished second and Sarah Leser third in the tournament. Warwick's score in the tournament gives it a ranking of ninth nationally.
