Adult and Continuing Education

PAYMENT POLICY: Cash or money order only, personal checks will no longer be accepted in the adult education department.

Adult Education: GED, Pre-GED, and English for Speakers of Other Languages.

The registration and assessment process is required for all new students prior to class enrollment.  Please phone the Adult Education Office at 283-7830 for next available registration dates.

The Adult and Continuing Education program offers a variety of classes, including classes for those seeking a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED), and the External Diploma Program (for adults 21 and older). We offer English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes at various levels. In addition, we offer general interest courses that include a variety of computer classes, beginning foreign language, safe boating, and more! These general interest courses are tuition-based courses. Call for information on the specific amount of tuition for each of the general interest Continuing Education courses.

General interest courses may be offered in any area as expressed by the interest of the adults in our community. If you have an interest in a course, we may be able to organize one for your group.
