Gifted Services Resource Team Brain Bender Websites Hoagies Gifted Page- This site has lots of links to critical and logical thinking games, plexers, optical illusions, brian teasers, wacky wordies, and puzzle sites. Set Game:  The SET® Puzzle involves learning a rule of logic, players must invoke their "left brain" logical and thinking skills. To find the 'SETS' players must examine the spatial array of cards and locate, in the overall pattern, the cards that satisfy the rule using "right brain" spatial and intuitive thinking skills. Every time you find a 'SET' you are using your whole brain and increasing your potential to be creative. Quiddler:  Quiddler is a word game which draws on one's ability to combine letters into words. Players must combine their entire hand into words trying to use the highest point value letters. There is a visual perception aspect that draws on combining the cards with the highest points into the words rather than the first words a player recognizes. There is also an element of strategy and logical thinking. Brain Food:   A collection of puzzles ranging from word games to logic problems to riddles. All require thinking power. Conceptis Logic Puzzles:  A collection of online logic puzzles. Wordies:  Challenge yourself and improve your brain’s ability to remember things.  The object is to translate the arrangement of letters, numbers, and symbols into familiar phrases or sayings.
