• IMPORTANT: Revisions to the Standards of Accreditation were approved by the Board of Education on July 28, 2000. There was a "transition period" from 2000-01 through 2002-03 affecting students currently in grades 7, 8, and 9. The transition period allows these students to pass six SOL tests and earn six verified credits to graduate: two in English and four of their choosing. The verified credit information stated in the NNPS Policies and Procedures will affect all future students beginning with current sixth graders. (At the time the Policy Manual was completed, this "transition period" had not been adopted by the Board of Education.)
