NNPS Board to Host Public Hearing
on Proposed Student Reassignment Plan
(May 23, 2008) -- The School Board of the City of Newport
News is seeking public comment on the proposed reassignment
plan for students living on Fort Eustis who currently attend
Epes and Greenwood elementary schools at a public hearing scheduled
for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, in the administration
building auditorium, 12465 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News.
The proposal reassigns these students to General Stanford Elementary
School on Fort Eustis effective September 2008.
