NN STUDENT APPEARS ON BET'S '106 AND PARK'
Eighth grader sings original song to
win competition
January 25, 2008 -- Brittany Greene (pictured at left), an eighth grade
student at Huntington Middle School Arts and Communication Magnet,
appeared on the popular BET show “106 and Park” on January
23, 2008.
Brittany won the competition by singing an original composition,
“Time to Go.” She traveled to New York, the location
of the show, where she first auditioned this past September.
Brittany is not a newcomer to singing competitions. She appeared
on “Star Search” as a ten year old and has been singing
since her elementary school years.
