GED Exam Schedule

 
The tests given on Monday and Wednesdays are scheduled for 5 p.m. The Saturday tests are scheduled to begin at 7:45 a.m. and are all-day tests. Other testing dates may be added if there is a demand for additional dates.

Application must be made 10 days prior to testing (but is on a "first come, first served" basis). A fee of $45.00 is charged to take the entire battery of five tests. Retests are $7.00 per section. Acceptable payment is by cash or money order.

An applicant must be at least 18 years of age and out school to qualify for GED testing unless enrolled in the alternative education program.  A current government-issued picture identification is required for registration.

Make-up testing may only be done on the two-night dates. Monday evenings will be devoted to math and writing. Wednesday evenings will be devoted to science, social studies, and reading. Full tests may be assigned for either the Saturday date or the two-night dates.
